What's up
How was your week?
Last week, the air conditioner at home unfortunately broke down, yes, during the hottest days. The temperature at home reached an average of 28-30 degrees.
Haha, I often say my older brother is particularly lucky because the air conditioner broke down the night he left. Although they say it's better to share joy than to enjoy it alone, in this case, I'd rather enjoy the heat alone 🔥... At least I can run around naked and eat a big watermelon by myself 🤣.
The good news is: I finally survived the state of extremely high heart rate last week. Although sometimes I hate the arrival of my period, it does bring me extraordinary resilience (mindfulness thinking 😘).
In this relatively easy week, I had to find some fun to satisfy my restless heart. Here are some interesting tools I discovered this week. Hope we can all enjoy them together ❤️

Bath cleaning tips 🛁✨07.15
Today, I'm sharing a little life tip about taking baths. For me, taking a bath is an important step to end my day. I like to add some essential oils when I take a bath, but this can easily cause oil buildup in the bathtub.
Recently discovered a super useful method: take apart the dishwasher tablet, sprinkle the powder inside into the bathtub, and then rinse with water.
The surface of the bathtub cleaned this way is as smooth and reflective as if it were waxed, and it is particularly effective at cleaning grease without being slippery. ~ Bathtub cleaning procrastination cured ❤️🩹
Amazon Prime Day shopping experience 🛒🎧07.16
These past two days have been Amazon's Prime Day, so I browsed the website. I've been using Dewalt's player and discovered they released a new product—the Jobsite Pro Max neckband headphones and speaker combo. I thought the concept was very novel, so I bought one to try it out.
After using it, I realized it really needs to replace my old speaker. This product is super convenient, hanging around my neck all day without any discomfort, and the sound quality is much better than my previous single speaker.
When listening to podcasts, you can freely adjust the volume without disturbing others or making your ears uncomfortable. Super awesome discovery, feeling great 🥰
You can hang it around your neck, it's so light that you can hardly feel the weight
Both headphones and speakers, versatile in use
Long battery life
Excellent sound quality, with surround sound effect
The sound can be adjusted and paused at any time, without disturbing others
Discovered a new sport—Pickleball 🏓🏃♀️07.18
Recently, a friend recommended Pickleball to me. This sport is a bit like a combination of tennis and badminton, and it can be played both indoors and outdoors, with less stringent requirements for the court. I used to play squash often, and I think it's quite similar, so I decided to give Pickleball a try.
I couldn't wait to buy a set of equipment and started playing at home. I found that you can practice on the wall or anywhere, and it's very cost-effective.
I look forward to incorporating this new sport into my daily life, as it is also an attempt to increase my life insights.
Easy to pick up, kind of like a mix between tennis and badminton
The venue requirements are not high, it can be played both indoors and outdoors
Not much affected by the wind
New discoveries at Costco 🛒🛠️ 07.19
Today I went to Costco and discovered a super useful tool—a shopping cart. I've seen similar ones before, but this one is just the right size, can be folded, and has many functions.
I usually don't like driving and often carry shopping bags to buy groceries. With this little cart, it's much easier to buy heavy things.
It can be used for carrying trash, picnicking, or shopping. It's versatile, lightweight, and practical. This thing really can improve your mood 🥰 hahaha~
The size is just right, it can be folded, very portable
Multifunctional: Can be used as a trash can, shopping cart, picnic tool, etc
Solved the problem I encountered when shopping without driving
Tools for Building Micro-Habits
I have to praise the Duolingo app. In the past 200 days, when I couldn't get motivated, at least there was one thing I kept up with, and that was feeding that "annoying little elf"... Besides earning the "200 days" badge:
"Another surprise is the increase in willpower. Willpower requires raw strength, but it needs endurance even more, so frequently repeating small tasks is the ideal way to 'exercise' willpower."
"The stronger your willpower, the better control you have over your body."
Many people have become slaves to their own bodies, constantly responding to every emotion and whim. (They call it: doing what they want to do, becoming themselves...) Emotional ups and downs or starting strong but finishing weak.
I believe that to truly be yourself, the first step is to have a clear understanding of your own thoughts and actions.
If your micro habit is to walk 1000 steps every day, then you will have an understanding of how many steps you take in total each day.
If you have to monitor something every day, no matter how trivial it is, your consciousness will increasingly focus on it, even thinking about it after achieving the goal. You will live consciously and mindfully. And make autonomous, heartfelt decisions. This is my understanding of being oneself and the freedom of mental strength.
Solution: Establishing micro-habits is a good way to solve this problem, and at the same time, it can also improve willpower.
⬇️ Sharing some feedback from my friends during the process of building micro-habits. (Also, I highly recommend getting an Apple Watch to track daily exercise)
Finally, I hope you can also find your own insights in life. I firmly believe in that saying: everyone is an expert at solving their own problems.
Wishing you a peaceful week
Summer
