6. When WebRTC Control is active, is my real IP address hidden?
No, WebRTC does not change, hide or mask your real IP address. It only disabled (blocks) WebRTC routes in your browser, which in turn, prevents IP-leak from WebRTC detection technology. Your real IP address may still be exposed to websites and servers. If you want to completely hide your IP address, you need to first prevent IP leak with WebRTC Control addon, then change your IP address with a masking service such as VPN or Proxy. This way your real IP address is completely changed and hidden from websites.
