Department of Liver and Peritonectomy Surgery - St George Hospital 圣乔治医院肝脏和腹膜切除外科部
Xaoji Cai presented to St George Hospital on the 25/3/2025 for a planned peritonectomy and HIPEC for her colorectal adenocarcinoma under the care of Dr Nima Ahmadi under the Peritonectomy team. She underwent this operation on the 25//3//202525 / 3 / 2025 and returned to ICU to recover (please see detailed operation report below). She went to ICU to recover following this and was medically managed with antibiotics, adequate analgesia, nutritional optimisation with TPN. Mrs Cai had some shoulder/chest pain during her admission and a ECG and troponin completed showed no abnormalities. She then returned to the wards and recovered with ongoing assistance from the allied health team including physiotherapy and occupational therapy.
