Is it better than GitHub copilot? I'm using copilot currently, works pretty well for me.
Yeah there is no comparison. Cursor is like a step-function improvement over copilot.
Thats awesome! Are you using Pro or Business plan? We are concerned with this in Pro plan: "With "Privacy mode", your code is never stored anywhere other than your machine and will never be trained on. Otherwise, we may save prompts / collect telemetry data to improve Cursor."
I tried this for few months (OpenAI before sonnet 3.5).
I’ve switched to VS Code with using the “Best Overall Experience” config, but substituting for tab completion.
Unless I’m missing something, I don’t see any benefit to using Cursor.

What’s your system prompt? Been testing a few here:
Just switched to Cursor (from Copilot) and Claude (from ChatGPT) last week - so good!
Fine.. I'll give it a try today. I swear I'm going to be super annoyed though switching tools if this isn't noticeably better for daily startup work.

the fact that it is a better designer than most designers and can visualize how the code renders is unreal, this combo has changed the game for me since I swapped a few weeks back!
Totally. If you think that’s fun—Add in Claude-engineer from and you won’t sleep for a week. I’ll buy you the coffee to fuel you for an insane time
