Exploring the Research Model of Precepts in the Perspective of the Purpose Theory of Liberation

--A study of the subjective motivation of "mass murder" offenders as an example

Abstract: According to the teachings of Buddhism, liberation must be the core purpose of its establishment, and for all of Buddhism, this core purpose is of ultimate significance. When we say "the purpose is liberation", the "purpose theory of liberation", which was born in the spirit of the precepts and acts under the principle of the precepts, comes out. In this paper, we take the subjective motivation of the "Great Killing Precept" as an example, and try to rethink the research mode of precepts, and construct the research mode of the holographic perspective of the "trinity" of subjective motivation of purpose, subjective motivation of guilt, and subjective motivation of prevention under the "Purpose of Deliverance Theory", breaking the constraints of the traditional ontological narrative on the understanding of subjective motivation of the "Great Killing Precept", and directing the attention of the research to the purpose theory category and the subjective motivation of the "Great Killing Precept", and to the "purpose theory category" of the "Great Killing Precept". It breaks the constraints of the traditional ontological understanding of the subjective motivation of the "Great Killing", and turns the research attention to the category of purpose from which it comes and the category of practice from which it goes, thus realizing a complete interpretation of the subjective motivation of the "Great Killing".
