First, the purpose of the test

This test is used to test and evaluate the tightness of the P201 front brake caliper assembly.

2. Sample information

The brake caliper tightness test requirements were put forward by the product development department of Wuhan Wanxiang Automobile Brake Co., Ltd., and the test application number is: 202 2-ZDQ-0305, test samples It is a brake caliper assembly in 3 tooling states, please refer to Annex 2 for the sample photos, and the sample information is as follows:

3. Test standards and methods

Test standard: refer to P201 front brake caliper DVP.

Test Method:

1) Vacuum tightness

The brake caliper assembly sample is fixed on the support plate;

Connect the inlet of the brake caliper with the vacuum source, so that the system reaches an absolute pressure of 300Pa, and cut off the vacuum source;

Holding pressure for 15 seconds:

The vacuum drop value within 5 s was recorded.

2) Low pressure tightness:

The brake caliper assembly is fixed to the support plate according to the actual vehicle state, and then the hydraulic source pressurization pipeline is connected to the brake caliper inlet;

Exhaust the air in the system at a stable level of 001MPa test pressure, after 24 hours, no leakage in all parts

3) High Pressure Tightness:

The brake caliper assembly is fixed to the support plate according to the actual vehicle state, and then the hydraulic source pressurization pipeline is connected to the brake caliper inlet;

Exhaust the air in the system, then apply a test pressure of 13.72MPa to the system, cut off the pressure source, and keep it for 2min;

The pressure drop over the next 5 seconds was recorded.

Acceptance Criteria:

Vacuum tightness: pressure drop ≤60Pa;

Low-pressure tightness: no leakage in all parts;

High pressure tightness: pressure drop ≤0.2MPa;

Fourth, test equipment and environmental conditions

Xielong XL-ZDQXN brake caliper comprehensive performance test bench;
