I think this definitely smells like The most wanted intense as well as Born in Roma intense, I think it leans more towards born in Roma. TMW has more of a sweet and spicy thing with toffee and cardamom whereas BORI is more fresh with lavender. There is much more freshness here with lavender and the sweetness is somewhat toffee like but not as much. Very safe everyday mass appealing frag

Worst Asad flanker ever! Generic synthetic shit.

I can detect lavender, pink pepper, cacao, davana, and vanilla. I thought it had cardamom, but it turned out to be pink pepper. Overall, it is sweet and spicy. Vanilla and davana are very present. It is similar to Lattafa Ansaam Silver, which also has davana, but Bourbon has an additional cacao note.

Okay, this fragrance is just... okay. It gives off a strong SWY Absolutely kind of vibe, but more masculine, a bit more mature — maybe it’s the bourbon vanilla. The scent itself is great in my opinion, but the longevity... meh.

I got this perfume recently.

Not much to say for now, as I’ve only used it once.

The performance straight out of the box is terrible — it doesn’t last long, and the projection is weak.

So, I’m currently letting it macerate for a few months and will revisit it later to see if there’s any improvement.

As always, these Arabic perfumes usually need time to macerate before use in order to achieve better performance, both in terms of a more balanced blend and improved longevity.

No rating from me for now, since I’ve only used it once — and so far, I’m not impressed. Weak.

Este perfume las salida es rica , encantadora pero luego se torna en una especie de Armaf Odisey homme Black, dura en ropa. Yo le doy un 7.9 de 10 . Es una compra segura por el precio . No veo usándolo mucho .

Imagine any of the top four compared fragrances coupled with the synthetic chocolatey coffee accord found in Reyanne Tradition, Michael Jordan Legend, Polo Red Extreme, Rochas Man, and Givenchy Pi.

Not a bad thing. Drydown isn’t nearly as sugary candy sweet as I was expecting. And it makes this one unique enough to hang onto, even after I’ve had and sold most of the frags this is inspired by. No-brainer for the price. Useful, simple cool-weather or date night grab.

i have smelt SWY intensely and this is very similar to it, also Azzaro most wanted

Basically opens with BIRI opening, lasts not that long, dries down to TMW EDP

Before I compare this to anything I first want to say this stuff smells really good. In my personal opinion I’m getting azzaro the most wanted parfum and maybe it’s from the bourbon vanilla but this stuff is fire for the smell and price. 10/10 🔥

i went to buy CDNIM and at the store i sprayed Asad bourbon to test it, now i regret not buying bourbon instead, i can still smell it on my skin after more than 12h, the only way to describe it is 'delicious' and appealing

This is 100% Invictus cologne. I don't think I've yet smelled a clone that nails another scent so accurately.

share

This is genuinely better than anything it is being compared to. The only difference is, Lattafa doesn't charge you a bomb for it and yet delivers a sweet, spicy, gourmand masterpiece. Reminds me a bit of Ansaam Silver.

After owning this one and using it for a while now, I think it's time I reviewed it.
In the opening of Asad Bourbon, I'm greeted with a whole lot of sweetness and fruitiness from the plum and cacao. I immediately pick out the cacao—it blends with the Mirabelle plum, a fruit that is new to me but still works beautifully. Together, they create a stunning and incredibly yummy opening. This phase only gets better as it progresses, with the pink pepper adding a spicy twist. The plum smell also settles a bit after about 10 minutes.

I notice the lavender more in the mid, where it brings its usual soothing touch in the background. It doesn't overshadow the composition—it's just subtly present alongside the pink pepper and a beautiful spicy nutmeg.
As the mid transitions, it's mostly a sugary sweetness from the vanilla and cacao. Something in here vaguely reminds me of the coffee accord in CH Men Africa.

The dry down doesn’t stray too far from the mid. By this point, it’s supported by a hint of woodiness that’s barely noticeable—unless you recall how intensely sweet the composition was hours ago and then realize how much it has toned down.

Asad Bourbon has been compared to several fragrances—Stronger With You, Most Wanted, Born in Roma Intense, etc. I haven't smelled all of them, maybe only the SWY line, and I don’t see much similarity to Asad Bourbon. This feels like Lattafa’s take on sweet designer scents, which would appeal to many people. I would’ve said they need to slow down with the gourmand releases, but I think Asad Bourbon’s choice of infusing Mirabelle plum with cacao is quite unique. It might remind you of other fragrances, but it still does its own thing. I remember someone saying that Asad Bourbon feels like Nebras’ little brother, and yeah, I kinda see it.

Performance on this one is good—8 hours on skin with great projection. I can still smell it on myself after hours without any problem. In my opinion, the performance is very solid.

RATING:
Longevity: 7.5
Projection: 7
Uniqueness: 5
Versatility: 6
Blend: 7.5
Overall appeal: 8

OVR: 41

So, I’d place this in the A-tier of fragrances I’ve tried from the house of Lattafa.

This is basically like Armaf Odyssey Homme White Edition (which is said to be similar to SWY), but a bit sweeter, less airy, probably because the note of vanilla, which Odyssey Homme White doesn't have.
It feels a bit redundant, specially because I'm not the greatest fan of this scent profile. I don't regret buying it because it is cheap and has a great quality for its price.
I really don't get why people are saying this smells like Azzaro The Most Wanted Intense EDP, TMW also has a aromatic sweet middle / base, but they are completely different.

It's a very good fragrance on its own, has arab projection and performance, but like I said, redundant if you own either SWY (apparently because I don't own and never tested SWY) or Odyssey Homme White.

share

Jesus Wicked

Smells ok. It's a mix of SWY and Born in roma intense. I just opened the box. It's a basic fragrance for me. But probably girls will like it if you wondering. I assume it will get better in time. I will macerate this until next autumn or winter.

This fragrance does not come close to the fragrances mentioned above this stuff is too spicy pungent even annoying I do not know if it has to macerate and it lasts a long time this pungent spiciness accompanies throughout the evolution of the fragrance

I got this in a recent fragrance haul consisting of Lattafa Asad, Armaf Precieux, Anfar Bateig Azul, Anfar Azure Spirit, Jimmy Choo Man Blue, Lattafa His Confession, Boss Bottled Parfum.

Despite not being dissatisfied with any of the purchases, I love this one the most. The fragrance opens up and reminds me of Azzaro's The Most Wanted Parfum right away, which I own. After 30 mins or so, I felt it transition into something else I own, Valentino Uomo Born in Roma Intense, which it stayed as for the remainder of its duration. So, Bourbon is basically TMW Parfum in the open, then BiR Intense for the hours-long remainder of the fragrance, leaving a majestic vanilla trace at its end.

Because I also own Asad and Zanzibar, I can say that Bourbon is the best of the line and I loved this one just as much as my original Valentino. For the price I paid (£18), I feel this is extreme bargain territory and with the leaps and bounds that fragrance houses like Lattafa are making, they are making top-quality fragrances affordable at very modest prices.

Lattafa Asad Bourbon is a winner!

This is a stronger version of Nebras with some freshie masculine top notes added. It's good though, much more wearable than Nebras.

12h+ longevity on skin with moderate to intimate projection from three sprays (one to the chest, and one on each wrist that I dabbed on my inner elbows and behind my ears).

Accidentally caught my jacket in the spray at one point and I could smell it clearly for nearly a week whenever I was wearing the jacket. I try to avoid spraying this near fabric now.

FIRST IMPRESSION:
Wait, is that yummy fruity scent what they call Mirabelle plum? Wow! This smells amazing in the opening, with that fruity accord of Mirabelle. The cacao isn’t far behind—it’s very prominent. The opening leans heavily toward designer DNA and would probably remind many of several designer scents on the market. If I did a blind test, I’d probably guess this was a release from Paco Rabanne or Carolina Herrera. The vanilla runs the show here with the cacao. The lavender is in the background the whole time. This links it to the original Asad. And, of course, the Nutmeg and Pink Pepper adds the spark to the composition. I absolutely love this one!! To think I was ready to call it overhyped. Lol.

Edit: The cacao smell is like an amped up and sweetened version of the vague coffee smell I get from Ch men Africa. They DON'T smell the same at all. They're at most 30-40% similar, but they layer well—Ch men Africa is discontinued, btw.

If you're angry that this is sweet or that most of Lattafa's newer releases are sweet, youthful, and boring—or maybe you think this is just another mass appealing scent—how about trying other offerings from Lattafa that smell different, unique and "niche-like"? Lattafa has tons. Start with Maahir Black, then Adeeb, Al Ameed, Hala, Ajwad pink, Art of Nature I, Al Areeq Silver, Raw Human, and then Vintage Castle.
Everybody has a genre they really like.
And these very mass-appealing scents, or "designer DNA," no matter how many they release or how many tweaks they make, will always be loved and sell well—as long as they smell good.

I think it needs to Macerate for some weeks because I just got my bottle today and It smells like Coconut, Chocolate and Vanilla (Yes Coconut) But smells good
Projection and Sillage is Moderate (Strong for the first hour)
Lasting is Pretty Good (6 hours on skin and 8 on clothes) and can be better after Maceration
My overall Rating: 7.75/10 and can go to 8.5 after Maceration

#1126 in my "Tour de Fragrance"

I got this because a girlfriend smelled it at the fragrance store and said it was likeable. And I just met the aforementioned girlfriend for coffee and despite that I had bathed in this stuff before meeting her, skin-to-skin she didn't pick it up. It's actually cologne potency at best, like something that should be selling for $20 or less. No Bourbon characteristics whatever. Not much sillage to speak of. Even if you bathe in this every few hours, probably won't get noticed. Mostly the scent of cocoa powder.

This is my 45th Lataffa scent, only a handful of which I would say were great scents with great performance, like Khamrah, Khamrah Qawah, The Raghbas. The rest are okay, but mostly mediocre-performing "me too" scents that aren't close enough to the scents they mimic to call them clones. I've had consistently better luck with the other Mideastern low-end houses. I still have a couple of other Lattafas on my list, but after I've checked those off I won't be coming back to the brand unless something world-beating comes along, which seems unlikely.

-->first 5 mins : Axe Dark Temptation + pink pepper and slight sweetness from the citrus

--->then for 4 hours : amber+very slightly sweet chocolate, a warm inviting smell(this is the part where it smells like TMW EDP although it does not have the toffee note sadly)

--->then for 1 more hour : powdery vanilla plus something else i don't know the name of.

This perfume projects well but has average longevity, I wish Lattafa used caramel/toffee instead of chocolate!

share

VeryAngry19

This smells like hot chocolate in a bottle, but I love it! Its pretty strong projecting and lasts a very long time. You could use this for going out or a party. Overall:

Smell - 9/10
Presentation - 8/10
Performance 8.5/10

To my nose it’s like 90% Azzaro The Most Wanted with the aromatic caramel plus CH Bad Boy Extreme’s Cacao-Chocolate. Lataffa nailed it again combining multiple mass appealing panty dropper fragrances in one.

share

As someone noted below, it smells like Axe Dark Temptation. In fact, it's basically an EDP of Axe Dark Temptation. Same chocolate lavender accord, a soapy barbershop chocolate semigourmand.

As Marilyn Monroe famously said in 'Some Like It Hot,'....WHERE'S THAT BOURBON?

No bourbon. But a great quality version of Axe Dark Temptation. I like this much more than if it had been just another bourbon scent. I guess they meant bourbon vanilla. I don't even get that accord either though. Fresh and delicious smelling.

share

tortora08

I purchased this as soon as it came out and paid a lot more than what it is selling for now. On first impressions it was pretty average, no bourbon at all to my nose. I’ve let it sit for a month and retested and it is not unpleasant but nothing at all special. I am going to keep it for a while and see if it continues to improve with maceration, but honestly, once I smelled Teriaq intense there was just no going back. I love any type of boozy fragrance but this smells nothing like bourbon to me.

Nice scent and fairly mass appealing especially nowadays with vanilla gourmands being popular. What I like about this - and what other's have said - is it seems to transform over time as opposed to being one dimensional like a lot of other clone type manufacturers. I get a bit of Afnan 9pm (which i didn't overly care for cause it seemed synthetic, but Asad doesn't) and also Stronger with You Absolutely (well I have the clone Proud of You Absolute which is pretty much the same thing). I get some more chocolate type scent as well. Not boozy or bourbon at all though, not sure why they included that in the name; it's not in the main accords either. I sprayed 3 times on my shirt and it lasts all day long. My wife said it was way too strong and to only spray once next time. Nice sillage too. Not really getting synthetic notes either which is great. I'd say this is best for colder weather. Great value!

Doesn’t smell like Azzaro The Most Wanted, it smells weird on skin, like leather horse CaCa, smells good in the air but it just has a weird smell like Ted Ladidus Altamir, way too much lavender, like synthetic vanilla.. doesn’t project and it should given the notes that’s in here and it being an EDP.

Update👇🏼

“1 week later”
Ok so I sprayed it a week later and it’s totally different, You can really smell the fruity mirabelle plum and that synthetic vanilla smell toned out, it smells really good now.. it’s like a bright sweet fruity vanilla, I still don’t smell the bourbon though. I got 14 hours of nose to skin and about 5 to 6 hours of good projection

Batch date is 10/24 so ima keep letting it sit for about 2 more months then come back to it.

Overrated as all these clone frags are, bought this due to everyone banging on about how close it was to Azzaro’s The Most Wanted Intense, got a bottle a few days ago & pretty disappointing for me, first off once again it’s not the beast mode performer people claim, in-fact it’s pretty tame & becomes just a skin scent within an hour or two, it doesn’t have the richness & creaminess of TMW, it’s very plummy & peppery but in a crude way, there’s nothing refined about this compared toTMW it’s also leaning towards the feminine side as many of these scents tend to these days. Macerate it all you like if you believe in that BS, it’s still going to be garbage, seriously overhyped.

share

Oofhunter

Blind bought this after seeing the high rating. Was disappointed not because it’s a bad fragrance. Disappointed cos it smells almost identical to Ansaam Silver which I already own. Redundant purchase. Probably they added in 1-2 more notes and repackaged Ansaam Silver to Asad Bourbon.

share

Thus stuff is WAY better then I expected. I also have Asad ( & Dior Elixir) and Zanzibar and while I like them, Asad and Zanzibar each have a mild background weird smell IMO.

But this stuff has nothing like that. It smells as good of quality as any mainstream designer.

It definitely has the Most wanted Intense vibe with differences. IMO this is every bit as good as the Azzaro.

I"m actually going to order a backup bottle.

share

I get a sweet/spicy opening similar to Bad Boy OG & Bad Boy Extreme blended with the vanilla sweetness in TMW & TMW Parfum. It dries down into Valentino BIR Intense. I heard there are similarities to Scandal Absolu as well, but I haven’t tried it yet.

Edit: I’ve given this fragrances a few wears over the past couple of days. The sillage is good for the first hour or so, then turns into a skin scent and is gone within 2 hours. I may let this mature for a while and test out in the future.

In conclusion, this is a good budget alternative to other popular designer fragrances in the similar scent profile of spicy/woody/vanilla/sweet (such as SWY, TMW & BIR intense). For around $35 this is basically like all of the fragrances above mashed up into one. However, if you are looking for something that has better projection and longevity I would recommend going with TMW or TMW Parfum.

Lattafa is on a strong new wave of ""sweet astringent"" fragrances. Teriaq Intense, His Confession, The Kingdom.

"Astringent" due to the use of the note of
Amberwood OR Saffron OR Evernyl. I guess is a new captive of theirs, which I can sense in the brand's recent fragrances. It's the famous note from Baccarat 540, Tygar, God Of Fire. It's a note I'm not a big fan of, so it stands out a lot and I smell it easily.

Here we have Valentino Uomo Born In Roma Intense (we'll abbreviate it to VUBIRI) + this note.

As this note is present in the previous mentioned above (and to a lesser extent in Azzaro The Most Wanted, Angel's Share and SWY Absolutely), Asad Bourbon is briefly reminiscent of them. But it's just VUBIRI + that note.

That's it. The opening is sweeter. It has a hint of plum. Then the heart and base is VUBIRI + saffron/amberwood/evernyl.

So, if you like VUBIRI, you'll really like this one. Maybe you'll turn your nose up at - or learn to live with - this new Frankenstein note from Lattafa, especially if you're sensitive to saffron.

Nothing new there. But the "same" here is well done. A great clone of Valentino - although I prefer Zara 800 Black if it comes to VUBIRI clones.

I just got it yesterday and I am a bit surprised. I don't get any vanilla or cocoa, all I get is spicy and woody scent. I got this at 20 bucks and I certainly say it is worth more than 3 times I purchased. I believe that it will become more complex after maceration. Although it is not the hype it has created , it is must buy Lattafa if you love Spicy woody fragrances and tag of LATTAFA ASAD.

I'm really not sure what the previous reviewers are smelling, but this stuff is simply delicious!!
The bourbon vanilla and cocoa is so warm and irresistible. The Mirrabelle plum gives it just that extra aromatic sweetness.

Smells like an okay generic sweet designer fragrance, to my nose its something between Azzaro wanted and Strogner with you with some slight barbershop vibes, presumably from the lavender. Smells nothing of Scandal Absolu. A very okay pick comparing it side by side to these other sweet designers, but I think it falls short of most of them.

Projection and sillage are both very moderate

Great stuff off the rip. I get Valentino Born in Roma Intense only drying down into some of that bourbon vanilla in TMW EDP and Parfum base. I mean it's a no Brainer if you like those scents this is an affordable alternative that protects and lasts very well! Haven't tried Zansibar but the OG Asad I love after I got some air in the bottle and let it sit a while I think it's great. And honestly, layering Asad and Asad Bourbon would probably be great!

Oh my lord, I just received this fragrance today about 2 hours ago, and it's just so good.

Digressing; the cacao, davana, and vanilla in this are so fantastically blended and it creates this warm, sexy, delicious scent that will absolutely turn heads. It reminds me of an extremely rich hot chocolate. However, in terms of what this is duping, I believe this is definitely inspired by Azzaro TMW with a bit of a fair twist on it, and oh my. I almost have no words.

Spraying it 2 hours ago and it's still strong, I did 4 sprays on my wrist. I feel this will last about the same as the other lattafa's, being about 7 - 8 hours on my skin, with a couple hours of quite strong projection before getting softer and softer and eventually a skin scent at around the 5hr mark.

This is a gourmand lovers wet dream, and in my opinion, arguably better than Khamrah.
I'm genuinely in love.
Also kind of reminds me of SWY Absolutely.
An ACTUAL 10/10. My best Lattafa.

Nice fragrance. Similar to the Azzaro wanted lines and Armani stronger with you original. I can also say this is Ansaam Silver repackaged. Scandal Absolu is way sweeter and I don't think they are close. Nice perfume to have overall. You don't need this if you have the others I have mentioned.

As someone with a pretty big collection, this really grabbed my attention and I can't stop wearing it for one reason only - it's a chameleon.
First 30 minutes I spray it JPG Scandal Absolu, the next 30 minutes it's more similar to the Born in Roma line, then in the next hour or so it switches to CH Bad Boy Extreme, after that it resembles The Most Wanted. The next day I am able to detect Boss The Scent in there as well or Stronger with you. The performance is good and I believe it doesn't need to be better because after the 5-6 hour you will want to respray just so you can experience the seamless cycle of metamorphosis this offers once again for the day. Yes, it's not a unique scent or something that is never done before, but it kind of is in a way.

It's a really hard trick to pull and I was definitely not expecting it from Lataffa to make something so complex, yet so well blended. If you are looking for that one sweet and mass appealing fragrance you just spray and go in the colder weather this is it. If you are looking for something complex and interesting that will keep your attention this is also it.
Not to mention that it's at least 5 times worth it's value.

This is not scandal absolu i dont care what anyone says. They literally only have one note in common. this is definitely more in line with the Azzaro TMW line. I definitely say its more this than SWY even (may absolutely?), because it does have that sweetness. the dry down is really nice! i will let it macerate for some time to test the longevity but its a really great fragrance for the price and they could easily charge Azarro and SWY prices for this. it may be boring to some as it may remind them of those other fragrances, but i only currently own SWY intensely and samples of TMW so this is a great addition for winter/fall for a great price!

UPDATE: about 10 minutes in its definitely Azzaro intense (i think) . its really nice!

I’ve only just received it and to me it is a scent that can be worn for work as it is not too strong, but I cannot smell any bourbon so the name is misleading. It is pleasant at best but not an OMG fragrance. It smells clean, not too sweet. It is a fragrance that anyone can use. Projection of the fragrance is moderate and lasts around 6 hours. I paid £25 for it so I’m not mad at it. Because of the hype surrounding its launch I think I would have purchased it anyway out of curiosity. As with most Lattafa fragrances it will macerate and get better with time, so I will put this away and come back at a later date with an update.

Solid fragrance, for the colder months, 6.5/10

This is a really nice amalgamation of several fragrances. I think they took a little Valentino Uomo Born in Roma Intense, Boss Bottled Elixir, a bit of plum from Jean Paul Gaultier Scandal Absolu, the cocoa from Carolina Herrera Bad Boy, and put them in this. I absolutely love it. For the price I mean come on!

BASMAJ, where are you? Maybe the price difference has to do with international shipping cost, tariffs, duties, taxes?

The "retail" price is much higher than $35-40 for us in North America, so we think we are getting a great deal lol.

This to me smells fantastic, I smell scandal absolu tbh maybe with a slight twist.
Gonna update my review since i had more time to it.
The mirabelle is very strong and gives this sweet citrusy smell to it like scandal absolu.
Then you smell quite a bit of pink pepper that gives a slightly spicy smooky vibe to it
After this you get the cacao and this beautiful vanilla
I actually don't know how other reviewers here can't smell the vanilla since its basically ever-present throughout the whole experience
The perfume without maceration its already quite deep and can only get better with time :)

Lattafa should change the name. I don't think BOURBON represents this bottle very well. This to me smells exactly like rasasi hawas and Armaf peridot. To my nose I get Tuberose that bubble gum kind of smell. Whilst the parfum is very nice (but already smells like so many I already have) the name needs changing. I didn't get any Bourbon Whiskey or deep smell I expected from the name of the fragrance

FragWardrobe22, it's currently available for $38 USD on fragrancebuy.ca if you are looking for it, and that is without a 10-12% discount code which are routinely available.

Really excited to get my nose on this. I've had Scandal absolute, Most wanted intense edp/parfum, and Stronger with you on my list for a while now. Since I'm more of a wardrobe builder and not really a collector, I wonder if this would make owning those kinda redundant. I'm sure the nuances of all of those individually might get lost but if it shares qualities of all of those in one, smells awesome, and has good quality, may as well get this and call it a day! I'll be placing my order this week as I'm willing to pay the current $40-$50 so I can wear it now before winter is over.

I agree with other reviewers ... a cheaper smelling Most Wanted, Valentino Born In Roma, or Polo 67. I don't smell a lick of vanilla bourbon. Just a cheap, synthetic, linear, overly sweet concoction.

I got the bottle today. I smelled it for a few hours and promptly gave it to my youngest son who is 7 years old.

He said, "it's a little too sweet, but I'll take it ... if it's free," That kind of sums it up perfectly.

I was definitely disappointed by this fragrance. It smells a little like the most wanted line a little like the stronger with you line with less projection than either of those. Lattafa Definitely didn’t do anything different with this one.

Reminds me of TMW EDP Intense, TMW Parfum, Valentino BIR Intense. Very aromatic and sweet scent. I would put this under mass appealing scent

share

gogerix

A lot more aromatic than I anticipated, and stays that way throughout the wear, warming up ever so slightly. Not a sugary sweet scent. It reminded me of Boss The Scent Elixir, not of the exact smell (smelling them side by side the differences are apparent), but rather of that warm/aromatic family it occupies. Also, there's something reminiscent of Stronger With You, but with way less sweetness. Overall, it falls in that fresh/warm category that's people-pleasing to the max.

Wow, another sweet vanilla scent! Just what we need......

More like a original badboy/ scandal absolu hybrid. The extreme isn't really spicy.

surfyrig

very curious to see how fresh/green notes combine with the chocolatey/sweet ones

share

Question EVERYTHING

The notes look very similar to CH Bad Boy Extreme... Sure, there are some subtle differences, but it sure looks like it will be in that wheelhouse, but with a twist. I'm not a huge fan of Bad Boy Extreme, so I'll wait until some reviews come in to see if the sweetness is amped up like the OG... which I'm just not overly excited about.

4.21 rating despite being a new release that voters have yet to smell. It has survived the initial critics unlike Hawas Black and others.

Lauched in 2025? Is that a Perfume calendar?

@Turtle2 Zanzibar wasnt an objective failure. It may not be mass-pleasing, but there are many that like it.

@Wayne2Wheels You are absolutely wrong. Alcohol is only forbidden to drink. But there is no restriction on touching or applying on skin .

Obviously, fake voters believe in: I vote, so I exist!

share

@aquagreenmoon yeah, there’s nothing wrong with having some dupes in your collection, I have a few as well, but when people have mainly dupes in their collection and think they have a say against people with real collections they are overstepping. That’s like someone with a flip phone calling iPhones garbage.

share

GoldIris

People clearly are voting without having smelled this fragrance, it does not smell at all like Althair or Grand Soir, rather smells like another interpretation of Sauvage Elixir.

share

ToddProjects

@PappySmellsGood, I guess the Bourbon refers to the supposedly Bourbon vanilla, not the alcohol.

share

aquagreenmoon

@requestanewusername most people have dupes in their collection and their is absolutely nothing wrong with it. It’s so clear you are a 15 year old over privileged child who’s parents have bought them everything.

share

Bold of “Panadol” to assume I’m an “immature kid”.. buddy take a look at your little dupe collection vs a solid collection such as mine and then tell me who’s the kid.

Turtle2

Ignore the haters & hype alike to take an objective stance.

I’m interested in seeing how this one turns out and plan to update my findings from the initial spray and after some maceration since this is a Lataffa after all. Harder part is figuring out the inspiration fragrance for Asad Bourbon. Right now if I had to make an educated guess, based on the listed notes, it sounds like a twist on Bentley for Men Intense. But after Zanzibar it’s best to approach this with a degree of caution. Once burned twice shy I suppose, but I think Lataffa will have learned from the Zanzibar pitfalls.

Update: Finally got my hands on it and yeah definitely reminds me of JPG Scandal. Its Bourbon vanilla not the booze, and definitely sweet, too sweet for my tastes.

Huzaifa24

It smells beautiful, good take on grand soir a little more gourmand and smooth opening than to grand soir. I don’t know how lattafa have managed to make this fragrance more gourmand and smoother than grand soir but hats off! The notes I got in the end cacao amber bourbon/cognac. 100% going in my collection to stay. Has a little bit of coffee kind of vibe to it a little bit but might just be me. Still smells absolutely amazing hats off to you Lattafa!

Cloud57

The notes looks good however with this brand this has a high chance of smelling very fecal.

share

PappySmellsGood

Fun fact : Asad Bourbon is void of any actual bourbon note... Discuss.

share

Dworm84

Looking at the note breakdown, it looks this could be a MFK Grand Soir clone. I could be it's own thing. We will see soon.
