  1 Overview


This product is used for the automatic stripping of single fiber and ribbon fiber ribbon jumpers, with a stripping length adjustable up to 30 mm. During stripping, it can maintain a high tensile strength of the fiber while not causing cracks or damage to the fiber surface. The automatic stripper is typically used in laboratories and factories for the research and development and manufacturing of fiber optic products. To ensure optimal performance of the product, the operator should carefully read this operation manual before use.

  2 Operations

  2.1 Heating and Peeling

  (1) When the power is turned on, the heating power is at maximum. (Red light flashes)

(2) After reaching the set temperature, the device will automatically enter power-saving mode to prevent the heater from overheating (green light flashing).

  (3) Keep the set temperature unchanged until the peeling is complete.
  (4) After the peeling is completed, enter the power safety mode.

  2.2 Display and Control Operations

  (1) Each time the power switch is pressed, the power will turn on or off.
  (2) When the power is turned on, the LED indicator will flash.

(3) Each time the temperature button is pressed, the temperature indicator increases by 1 level. After reaching the 9th level, it returns to the 1st level.


(4) The red LED indicator light increases by one block, and when it reaches the 6th block, it displays the temperature change. After the 7th block, the red LED indicator light will decrease from the bottom.


(5) Each time the time button is pressed, the time indicator light increases by 1 unit. After reaching the 5th unit, it returns to the 1st unit.

  (6) The green LED indicator shows the set time.
  After reaching the target temperature, the process LED indicator will turn green.

(8) After arranging the optical fiber array, cover it with the heater outer cover, and the process LED indicator light will turn yellow.


(9) After preheating, the process LED indicator will turn red, indicating that the peeling is in progress.


After the peeling is completed, the process LED indicator will turn green. At the same time, the device will emit an alarm and then enter power-saving mode.


After opening the heater outer cover, the slider will return to its original position, and the set temperature will also be restored.


(12) Once the set temperature is reached, the process LED indicator will turn green.

  2.3 Stripping

  (1) Arrange the optical fibers on the relevant fiber optic holder.
  (2) Place the clamp on the slider and close the outer cover of the slider.

(3) Check and ensure that the optical fiber is positioned in the middle of the heater, then close the outer cover of the heater.


(4) After peeling, first open the outer cover of the heater. Then, remove the holder from the slider.

  3.1 Blade Replacement and Adjustment


(1) After the blade is used up, loosen the bolt (as shown in the figure below). Remove the blade from the device body and the heater outer cover (blade composition: upper blade/lower blade).

  (3) Install the new blade in the reverse order.

(4) When installing the blade, ensure that the blade is tightly secured at the end of the peeler body and the outer cover of the heater.


(5) After tightening, ensure there is no gap between the upper and lower blades. The installation of the blades is crucial for the peeling process.


※ Warning: Do not loosen the peeling components under any circumstances unless it is necessary to replace the fixed screws and blade bolts.

  3.2 Cam Adjustment

  (1) Use a hex wrench to loosen the fixing screws (as shown in the figure below).

(2) According to the direction of the cam's rotation, the connecting rod will move up or down. By this method, the gripping force of the clamping cover can be adjusted. The vertical adjustment range of the connecting rod is ± 0.3 mm ± 0.3 mm +-0.3mm\pm 0.3 \mathrm{~mm} . After the adjustment is complete, tighten the fixing screws.

(1) Special care should be taken during handling and storage. Major components (such as blades, heaters, etc.) are crucial to the equipment's lifespan.
