It is hard to do these steps with full attention and focus.

I tried this many times and it works, after that list I make another one where I name all the objects in front of me to come back into the present.

Also, I noticed that when my blood sugar is super high (e.g. 15 mmol/l), I am very focused on just one task. I wonder could we use this information to make some kind of drug to focus more easily? Please send this to scientists you know.

100% agree with the brain dump to help focus. I personally found that it is hard for me to concentrate when I'm worried about all the other things I'm NOT doing/thinking about. By getting it all out of my head, I can clear my mind and focus on the task at hand. This only works though, if I trust that I will look at the brain dump and do something with all the information I put there.

A resource I have been using lately bring me back to center is this site: https://theforest.substack.com/

The material is humbling, relatable, short, and it elicits though, motivates, or inspires me when focus is necessary. I have used it to assist in dissolving writers block for writing assignments, I have used it to meditate on, or center my daily devotional time. It is all around incredibly useful, and interesting to boot. The subscription is free, so the newest TREE's come straight to my email every week day, so I can start my mornings on the right foot, instead of losing sight of the good scrolling through socials.

I hope this is a tool that will help you!
