In regard to the latter, a clear introduction and conclusion, as well as references and literature is required. References can be either included in the text within brackets or can appear in the form of footnotes/endnotes. References and literature do not count in the wordcount. Also, use the literature I provided (you are free to use other authors, but each paper must have at least 3 authors from the list of books I have sent at the beginning of the class, or from the list from the PPT of the very first class). Use clear argumentation. You can write in English or in Chinese.

FINAL FRIENDLY REMINDER: I tolerate and appreciate different ideas, approaches, understandings, etc. Feel free to explore the topic and present it in your (scientifically based) style. Plagiarism of any kind, however, is not tolerated one bit. Do not copy paste text, do not take other people’s writings or ideas as your own. Use in-text references, footnotes, endnotes or whatever else you are comfortable with.
