We refer to the above captioned matter, the following is the status report on the matters stated below;

The matter is currently before the High Court sitting in Kitwe following the Ruling of the Court dated April, 2024 which allowed for the amending of the Counter-claim, we did file and serve the Amended Counter-claim dated the day of May, 2024. Yafei ventures Limited was also granted Leave to file an amended Defence to the Amended Counter-Claim. However, till date, we have not received the Amended Defence from them. Further, this matter shall come up on the day of July, 2024 at 09:00 hrs for a status conference.

In this matter, we did file the Defence and Counter-Claim following, the Ruling of the Court which granted us L.eave to amend our Defence to include a Counterclaim. We are currently complying with the Orders for Direction wherein we were directed to file Bundles of Documents and Pleading. We have successfully

prepared the Bundles of pleadings and are and currently preparing the Bundles of Documents, Witness Statement and Scheduling Conference Brief. This exercise shall be concluded by the day of June, 2024 and should be duly filed into Court by the said date.

This matter came up for the hearing of an application for an interim Injunction in the month of March, 2024. Prior to the hearing of this matter, we did raise Preliminary Issues on Points of Law. During the hearing, the Court Ordered that all parties should file the all-necessary documents, thereafter, the Court shall render its decision by the month of July, 2024 based on the documents on record. Following the Court's Order, we have not received any documents from the Lawyers representing Liu Zegang, till date, suffice to state that we have filed before Court all the necessary documents on behalf of the Respondent. In the current state, the Court shall proceed to make its decision premised on the documents before it.

This matter relates to the registration and enforceability of an Arbitral Award that was passed in China in favour of the Respondent (Sinotrans Limited) with respect to the Parties before Court in Zambia. Tianjin Maolian Science and Technology Company Limited did register the Arbitral Award here in Zambia and went straight to enforce the Arbitral Award by levying execution on the Assets of Nkana Mining and Mineral Processing Limited. An Ex-parte Order staying execution was obtained from the Court and an Inter-Parte hearing was held. The Court passed its Ruling in May, 2024, wherein the Court confirmed stay of execution and granted us leave to apply to Court to set aside the Registration of the Arbitral Award. We are currently working on the Application to set aside the Arbitral Award. Equally, no assets of Nkana Mining and Mineral Processing can be sold or executed upon by the Applicant.
该事项涉及在中国作出的有利于 被申请人（中国外运股份有限公司）的仲裁裁决的登记和可执行性，涉及赞比亚法院审理的当事双方。天津茂联科技股份有限公司确实在赞比亚注册了该仲裁裁决，并直接通过对 Nkana Mining and Mineral Processing Limited 的资产进行执行来执行该仲裁裁决。法院下达了暂缓执行的单方面命令，并举行了单方面听证会。法院于 2024 年 5 月作出裁决，确认暂缓执行，并准许我们向法院申请撤销仲裁裁决的登记。我们目前正在处理撤销仲裁裁决的申请。同样，申请人不得出售或执行 Nkana Mining and Mineral Processing 公司的任何资产。

The above stated position is the current status of the matters currently active and being handled by our Firm.
