This course facilitates international students to adapt and assimilate into the Malaysian living environment by developing skills in Malay language communications, involving mastery of Bahasa Melayu, in particular everyday conversational Malay.

Academic misconduct is a serious offense in Xiamen University Malaysia. It can be defined as any of the following:
学术不端行为在马来西亚厦门大学是一种严重的违法行为。它可以定义为以下任何一项：

Plagiarism is submitting or presenting someone else’s work, words, ideas, data or information as your own intentionally or unintentionally. This includes incorporating published and unpublished material, whether in manuscript, printed or electronic form into your work without acknowledging the source (the person and the work).
剽窃是指有意或无意地将他人的作品、文字、想法、数据或信息提交或呈现为您自己的作品、文字、想法、数据或信息。这包括将已发表和未发表的材料（无论是手稿、印刷品还是电子形式）合并到您的作品中，而无需注明来源（人物和作品）。

Collusion is two or more people collaborating on a piece of work (in part or whole) which is intended to be wholly individual and passed it off as own individual work.

Cheating is an act of dishonesty or fraud in order to gain an unfair advantage in an assessment. This includes using or attempting to use, or assisting another to use materials that are prohibited or inappropriate, commissioning work from a third party, falsifying data, or breaching any examination rules.

All the assessment submitted must be the outcome of the student. Any form of academic misconduct is a serious offense, which penalized by being given a zero mark for the entire assessment in question or part of the assessment in question. If there is more than one guilty party as in the case of collusion, both you and your collusion partner(s) subjected to the same penalty.

Create a poster featuring up to three destinations in Malaysia. You may select any locations, states, or places and explain them in detail. Feel free to focus on any specific theme or aspect about the destinations.

The poster's title should be in Bahasa Melayu:

The poster's design and content are up to your group’s creativity. Include relevant information or images, and use any appropriate template for an appealing layout.

The content must be original and group-based, with each member assigned a specific task.

Your poster can be between 3 to 5 pages long (maximum 5 pages).

Instruction to Students
对学生的指导

Form a group with a maximum of 6 members, ensuring a mix of nationalities.
组建一个最多 6 名成员的小组，确保不同国籍的混合。

Complete the Team Details file Moodle/MS Teams, including the name of the group leader.
完成团队 详细信息文件 Moodle/MS Teams，包括组长的姓名。

All group members must actively participate and contribute to the poster creation.

Ensure the submission file is under 500MB, as per MS Teams' limitations.

The submission deadline is Week 10, 22nd November 2024, Friday, before 5:00 PM, via ONLINE submission in Microsoft Teams. Late submissions will result in a deduction of ONE (1) mark per day.
提交截止日期为 2024 年 11 月 22 日星期五下午 5：00 之前的第 10 周，通过 Microsoft Teams 中的在线提交。逾期提交将导致每天扣除一 （1） 分。

Only the group leader will submit the poster on behalf of the team. Ensure all team members' names and ID numbers (as per student ID cards) are included on the assignment cover page.

The group leader must sign the Own Work Declaration section (2nd page of the cover page) on behalf of the team.

Name the file using your Team number – Leader’s Name (refer to the Team Details file in MS Teams for your team number).
