Making the firing Pin: 制作撞针

Step 1. Using the firing pin marking jig(tool 1), mark a length of " in steel rod, and cut it.

Step 2. Insert the rod into a drill secured to a table, or a drill press. Turn the steel, use the angle grinder or files to shape the firing pin(Fig.9). Do not grind into the chamber when chamfering. Remove just enough material for the extractor to grab the rim of the casing. Cutting into the chamber wall can cause damage to both the operator and equipment.

Step 5. Rough up the barrel liner with some sand paper to promote adhesion. Use high temp adhesive to secure the barrel liner in the outer barrel, make sure the extractor cut-out in the outer barrel lines up with the chamfer on the linner.
