Personalized Project Reference (PPR)
(Created Independently)
Submit your program code segments for the Procedure and List, which are described below. Collaboration is not allowed on the written responses.
- Ensure that your program code segments do not include any course content or comments. Any course content or comments that were included in the program code during the development of your program should be removed prior to taking screen captures. Including course content or comments in your screen captures will result in the written response portion of your exam being scored a 0.
- Prompts asking for code segments must be inserted as images. The easiest way to do this is to take a screen capture (screenshot) of the appropriate code and save it. Then either drag and drop the image, or click on the photo icon and select the file. You can also copy and paste the image of the program code.
- Save your work by clicking on one of the Save buttons that are at the top and bottom of the page. Your work will be auto-saved every two minutes.
Refer to the Personalized Project Reference Tip Sheet for advice to help students adhere to the guidelines and create a readable document that can be used on exam day.
For more detailed information related to the Written Responses, please refer to the Student Handouts. Scoring Guidelines for the Create Performance Task can be found on the exam page on AP Central.
Submission Reminder
Before submitting your work as final, please:
- Do not include your name.
- Ensure that you have not collaborated on the video or creation of your Personalized Project Reference.
- Refrain from publicly posting any portion of your performance task. Work that is shared online is subject to being plagiarized by another student. When this happens both students will be flagged for plagiarism.
- You must submit all three performance task components as final. Components that are not submitted as final will NOT be sent for scoring. If you do not submit the Personal Project Reference as final, then you will not have access to this important reference on exam day.
